Why OnRamps? Because...
...among students who enrolled full-time in Texas public universities in 2002, 75% didn't earn a degree within 4 years, and 34% still hadn't earned a degree 10 years later.
...Texas high school students who complete just one dual credit course are nearly twice as likely to complete a college degree.
Partner with The University of Texas at Austin to increase the number and diversity of high school and community college students who experience rigorous, high-quality dual enrollment curricula that foster deep conceptual knowledge and academic skills aligned with the expectations of leading research universities.
Many of our best prepared high school and community college students—even those who have taken the most rigorous coursework offered to them—still struggle in entry-level courses at flagship and other universities. The primary goal of OnRamps is to prepare high school and community college students to succeed in university-level courses.
